We've also got some response from our Mandy posting.
3 replied - 1 older guy can cast as Father/ Boatman, 1 young guy cast as Boon Huat/ Mother's cousin, 1 lady cast as Nurse...
Jolene has 2 ppl in mind for the role of Balaji. She'll contact them for audition.
Hopefully it doesn't rain and more ppl will make.

Sounds great, I will be there definitely but have to be away for about 2 hours to setup the color stuff for Darren's talk at suntec.
I was talking to Terence and his idea of writing a role for shirleen/unexpected is cool, she can play Ah-Girl's bitchy colleague and smoking break partner, that will allow ah-girl's character to develop and shirleen to let off some steam (bitch about customers) in the role.
please note that ah-girl needs to smoke in the story, so ideally the actor smokes or can do it convincingly. i have had enough of actors pretending to play the guitar, speak mandarin with an ACJC accent, if we can't find the girl, i suggest we streetcast in clubs that night.
